Michelle Renee Windisman

June 22nd 1983 - December 23rd 2006

Michelle, an alumnus of Miss Auburndale Softball and the Auburndale High school bloodhounds, had just finished her four year-degree at Webber University, playing soccer and softball, and was preparing for grad School when she was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Michelle was always active, had never smoked, and had always taken care of herself.

Michelle asked, "why me?" -- but only briefly. Michelle then said, "I have it ; let's see what we can do about it." She maintained her upbeat positive attitude through all her very tough treatment for the cancer, as she had all her life.

"She's full of spirit, full of life. if someone is down she picks up their spirits."

Michelle's Warriors is not only a way to remember the person she was but to pass on her winning positive attitude.

"That's how I'm used to being and I'm not going to change!"
